Cloth Diapering 101
I have to tell the truth here that I did not think about eco-friendly when I decided to use disposable diapers (Huggies, Pampers, etc.) for my son. He was my first, I was in a new country without friends and family, didn’t even have baby sitting experience until then, so choosing disposable diapers was a no brainer. I did consider cloth diapering because of the green I could be saving. By green I meant cash and not “saving the earth green”. I was not sure if I would have the time to clean the stuff when I have a new born and a hundred other things to take care of. Another thing to consider was, I was living in a rental apartment then (and now too), without an ensuite laundry.
